Deans Connectors

Welcome to the new Fromeco Scale Avionics web site.   We have changed things around a lot.   We will make it better as time wears on as well.

If you are here because all the options you are used to seeing are gone, your in the right place.

** One of the things we did with the new web site is facilitate the use of Drop Down menus to make ordering more simple.   Unfortunately for those familiar with our web site this means that things disapeared on you.   No worries though.   It is all still here just in different form.   Please read the instructions below.

Once you have made it to a product page that has what you are looking for.  In case above Seiko Iron Crops, there are 3 places you can click, 1 will order the item with the default JR/Futaba connections, the other 2 will take you another step into the web page and allow you to choose connectors or other options.   In the picture above I have the areas marked with boxes.    The blue box is where you would go to order the item with JR/Futaba connectors or default.   The red boxes take you a further step down the rabbit hole and allows you to select connector types and combinations of connectors.   We strongly advise that you go to the red boxed regions and explore what you are getting.

Once you have drilled down a step further, "used" the red boxed regions.   It takes you to the screen that allows you to change wiring configurations.    This is a standard drop down menu.   It is labeled Wiring and works in a cascading fashion.   If there is more than one option to be had the second box will only show up after you have selected something that requires further additions.    Note on things like the Ion Cube the selection still says wiring even though you are choosing options to expand the Ion Cube.

In the drop down menu the "+" (Plus) symbol is used to signify (in addition to)  we tried to make the last box show exactly what you are getting in a string with + adding them together.  The Examples below will show drop down menu flow.

The example above shows that a customer is trying to buy an A123 with On Board Balancer Installed.  They have chosen that they want a Deans Plug + (Plus) something else.  By choosing this, the drop down will automatically bring up another set of drop downs shown below.

Once the Deans+ has been choosen, you can choose what else you would like besides Deans on the pack.  The example above is the second set of drop downs that can only be called by selecting the Deans+ option.  This allows the customer to choose Deans with a JR, or Deans with a balance lead, or Deans with a JR and NO Balance lead.  Depending on which option is chosen, a third set of drop downs is now activated.   Options boxes are only generated if you have selected an option that needs further clarification.

This example shows the third drop down where the customer is asked to decide on which type of Balance Lead they would like installed.   As you can see the chain of selections is shown in every block.  Deans+JR+Balance Lead, the JST connector has been chosen on this example.   Fromeco's drop down menu's can extend into 4 levels depending on how many different options you want on your packs.
